Manhattan Associates’ Out of Stock Dimensional Mailer

Manhattan Associates decided to get tricky to spark the curiosity of over 2200 multichannel retailers.

In the first effort to promote the company’s Zero Disappointment Retail™ campaign, they sent boxes in a color similar to a popular jewelry company’s blue with the white ribbon. When the retailers excitedly opened the boxes, they found a personalized Out Of Stock brochure rather than the expected jewelry gift.

The brochure directed retailers to their personalized URL to download a free ROI Calculator to justify buying the software.

The creative for this campaign was so thought provoking and attention grabbing, it created a huge buzz in the industry. Manhattan Associates also won the 2010 Direct Response Marketing 3D AMY Award for this campaign.
