PIAG Recognizes Shulman’s Contributions to the Industry.

Standard Press is proud to announce that Andy Shulman, president of Standard Press, has been named the winner of the Printing and Imaging Association of Georgia’s (PIAG) Benjamin Franklin Award.

This award is the highest honor presented in Georgia’s printing industry, and nominees must meet very specific criteria. They must be a person of high integrity, have worked for the graphic communications industry for a minimum of 15 years, made a positive impact on the printing and imaging industry in Georgia, and more.

Randy Camp of PIAG stated, “The award recognizes a person who has contributed to the betterment of the industry in Georgia as well their community, and it is not limited to PIAG members only. PIAG has been in operation since 1894, and this award has been presented annually since 1958, as chosen by a committee of past recipients. Andy Shulman embodies the criteria of the Benjamin Franklin Award, and PIAG is pleased to see this award given to a man of integrity with a proud family legacy in the Georgia printing industry.”

Because Standard Press has been family-owned since its inception in 1932, printing has always been a part of Andy’s life. During his 18 years as president, he has focused on providing customers with exceptional service, as well as high quality printed products. As a result, the company has seen exceptional growth, and today Standard Press employs over 70 staff members.
